Sleman, Hasanah.id – Seorang pemuda berinisial S (24) diamankan polisi setelah merusak palang perlintasan kereta api di Banyuraden, Gamping, Sleman, Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta.
Peristiwa tersebut terjadi ketika kereta api melintas pada Minggu 9 Agustus 2026 sore.
S mengendarai sepeda motor dari arah selatan dan berhenti di perlintasan karena palang pintu sedang menutup.
Namun, S diduga emosi karena harus menunggu kereta api selesai melintas.
Pemuda tersebut kemudian menarik palang perlintasan dari sisi selatan hingga mengalami kerusakan.
Pelaku Langsung Kabur
Aksi itu membuat lengan palang perlintasan patah. S kemudian meninggalkan lokasi menuju arah utara.
Sekitar 30 menit kemudian, S kembali ke Pos Perlintasan Kereta Api Banyumeneng.
Kedatangannya kembali menimbulkan persoalan karena S disebut menantang petugas.
Warga bersama petugas PT KAI kemudian melaporkan kejadian tersebut kepada Polsek Gamping.
Polisi yang menerima laporan segera mendatangi lokasi dan mengamankan S untuk menjalani pemeriksaan.
Kasi Humas Polresta Sleman Iptu Argo Anggoro mengatakan polisi menemukan fakta bahwa S berada dalam pengaruh minuman keras ketika melakukan perusakan.
“Berdasarkan hasil pemeriksaan, pelaku diketahui dalam kondisi dipengaruhi minuman keras saat melakukan perusakan,” kata Argo.
